The vision of Attack Poverty is to empower people to attack poverty in their life and community by strengthening under-resourced communities through spiritual growth, education, revitalization, and basic needs. In the mountains of East Asia, far from any city, sits a village that is thirsting for one thing - clean water to drink. On a normal day, villagers will travel up the mountain to retrieve water from their only source. The water is collected from melted snow that sits between stones and is far from adequate for drinking. Due to the lack of resources within this community, taking a shower has become a luxury and every drop of water is worth its weight in gold. What if every morning 200 villagers could wake up, walk up the mountain, and drink from a well that would promise no sickness or drought?
the 25 group believed in this dream and through the GENEROSITY of our partners, we made it a reality in 2020! a community of 200 people in east asia now has access to clean drinking water within their village.
