healing the sick
In India, children with disabilities are the most likely to be abandoned. When a child is found abandoned they are taken to local government run orphanages. Often times these orphanages are overrun, under-staffed and under-funded, making the child susceptible to neglect or abuse. Sarah’s covenant homes works with the local government to bring children out of the government orphanages and into their care homes where they can receive the quality medical, emotional and spiritual care they deserve in a loving family-style setting.
